In April 2026 I’ll be taking on the toughest footrace on earth, Marathon des Sables - a 270km ultramarathon across the Sahara Desert. For 7 days, I’ll carry everything I need on my back and run in temperatures reaching 50°C.
I'm taking on the challenge for Karma Animal Trust, a small, community-led animal charity in Rishikesh, India, where I’ve volunteered and witnessed firsthand the life-saving work they do every single day. They rescue injured and abandoned animals, run vital neutering programmes, and feed over 300 street dogs daily - all with limited resources but an enormous heart.
One of those dogs was my boy, Mojo, who was left paralysed after being run over as a puppy. Many places would have put him down, but Karma refused to give up on him. They saved his life, cared for him, and ultimately made it possible for him to come home with me - along with Ria who I brought home in 2023.
This will be the toughest physical and mental challenge I’ve ever faced, and I will need all the support I can get to complete it.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, you'll be helping to save and transform the lives of other animals like Mojo. Animals that deserve safety, care and a future.
Thank you all!
Sean
