At only 23 years old, my cousin Amlesom has been diagnosed with blood cancer.
Amlesom lives in a small village in Eritrea. His family survive through day-to-day farming, and he has always helped support them.
He delayed starting college to work on the farm. When he was finally able to begin his studies, he became seriously ill and has now been diagnosed with blood cancer. He is currently being cared for by his parents and is unable to study or work.
Due to the lack of facilities in Eritrea, he needs to travel abroad for life-saving bone marrow transplant surgery, the cost for which is simply out of reach for his family.
Let's help Amlesom get the care he needs!
