Running the London Marathon to Bring Smiles to Children

Hi there,

My name is Marcello, and this year, I’m taking on the London Marathon challenge. But this isn't just about running 42.195 km — I’ve decided to make it count by raising funds for something truly special. As I train, I’m raising money to help the children’s ward at Barnet General Hospital, which is close to where I work.

I’ve been in touch with the team at the hospital, and they’ve shared with me some of the items that could really make a difference to the kids staying there. From warm blankets and pacifiers to new storybooks and toys, my goal is to raise enough to provide these children with things that can bring comfort during a tough time.

Your donation, big or small, will go directly towards brightening these children’s hospital experience and helping make their time there more bearable. With your support, I hope to bring them something new that helps them feel cared for and a little bit more at home.
