It is not the first time, probably won’t be the last one, but it is a special one for sure.

Not only because it will be my first Marathon ever, but as well because I thought that it would be great to choose a more local charity to help on their purpose.

I will be running the London Marathon to support Many Tears Rescue Centre. They are based in South Wales, but they are fostering animals all across the UK.

As you already know, my love for animals is recent but it was love at first sight. In 2019 we decided to have Winnie, our French Bulldog, who definitely made our life better. Despite all the snorting, farting and demands, she is still the brighter thing in my life. Making everyday worthwhile with her unconditional love and snuggles.

Through the help of our Dog Walker, I got to know Many Tears. Their social media keeps providing updates on all the dogs they are rescuing. Some of them are really sad stories and most of them have a happy ending finding the forever homes that those dogs deserve.

With this fundraising, I am asking you to donate money, so they can keep operating in the best way possible while supporting all those adorable animals. And, as well, I encourage you to investigate their website for potential adoption or fostering opportunities.

Really hope this can make the difference for at least one of those dogs. Or, who knows, maybe for some of you too.
