On 10 October 2026 I will be taking part in the Lisbon Marathon, marking 10 years since I last ran a marathon — the Great Wall Marathon in China.

This time, I’m proud to be running in support of The Royal Signals Charity a cause that means a great deal to me personally.

The Royal Signals has been a huge part of my life throughout my service in the Army Reserves. The people I have served alongside, and the wider Royal Signals community, have taught me so much, shaped who I am and influenced how I conduct myself throughout life.

I have also seen first-hand the difference The Royal Signals Charity makes in supporting serving and retired personnel and their families. Having benefited from the incredible sense of camaraderie and support within the Signals community I feel it is now time for me to give something back.

The Royal Signals Charity plays a vital role in supporting the men and women who serve, or have served, in the Royal Corps of Signals. It provides financial assistance, welfare support, mental health support, and helps maintain the strong sense of community and camaraderie that exists among Signallers.

Any support or donation, no matter how small, would mean a great deal to me and help The Royal Signals Charity continue the important work it does for the Signals family.
