HI my name is Harry Achenbach

In 2026 I am taking on a challenge that is bigger than just running a race.

I will be competing in races across the John Wayne Grit Series to help raise $2,500 for the John Wayne Cancer Foundation. Every dollar raised goes directly toward cancer research, education, and early detection programs.

My first race will be the Pioneertown Half Marathon near Joshua Tree on March 21, 2026.

The series includes races in six locations across the United States including

Pioneertown, California

Newport Coast, California

Jackson Hole, Wyoming

Moab, Utah

Lone Pine, California

Fort Worth, Texas

Cancer impacts millions of families every year. The John Wayne Cancer Foundation works to reduce the suffering and death caused by this disease through research, prevention, and education.
