Running the Great North Run for Lucky's Legacy Rescue

Hi, I'm Clare and I'm running, walking and possibly crawling in the Great North Run on September 8th 2024.

I've never been a runner, I have the aerodynamic properties of a small bungalow, however this year is the year of doing hard things and this will be HARD!

To give me more motivation to do this I'm raising money for the absolutely amazing Lucky's legacy rescue which is where I adopted my dog, Lando, from in 2020.

Lucky's legacy Rescue is a charity that rescues abandoned and abused animals in a Romania and rehome them in the U.K. We provide medical care, food, warmth and shelter to our dogs and cats and get them ready for their new lives as loved pets. We support local spay and neuter campaigns to try and actively reduce the stray cat and dog population and we are constantly improving our shelter to ensure our animals have everything they need to be comfortable and happy.
