Running the Dublin Marathon for NI Hospice
Join me in supporting the Northern Ireland Hospice by running the Dublin Marathon
I'm excited to announce that on the 27th of October, I will be participating in the Dublin Marathon to raise funds for the Northern Ireland Hospice. Running is not just a hobby for me; it's a passion that I love to channel into supporting causes that make a real difference in people's lives. This year, I have already raised money for Great Ormond Street Hospital in February and the National Autistic Society of North Down and Ards in May. Now, I'm taking on this significant challenge to support an organization that is very close to my heart.
Today, the 29th of August, would have been my late mother-in-law's 70th birthday. She passed away from bowel cancer seven years ago, a loss that still resonates deeply with our family. Cancer is a disease that has touched nearly everyone, either personally or through the experiences of friends and loved ones. Running this marathon is my way of remembering her and honoring all those who have suffered and lost their lives to cancer.
Through this marathon, I aim to raise both awareness and crucial funds for the Northern Ireland Hospice, which provides invaluable care and support to those with life-limiting illnesses. I would be incredibly grateful for your support—whether through donations, sharing my story, or simply cheering me on. Together, we can make a meaningful impact, celebrate the lives of those we've lost, and support those still in the fight. Thank you for being a part of this journey with me.
