Running the Chicago Marathon to raise money for Ukraine

Arthur and Ollie, brothers from the UK, are taking on the 2025 Chicago Marathon to raise funds for Convoy4Ukraine, a UK-based charity dedicated to purchasing 4x4 vehicles and delivering humanitarian aid directly to partners working on the ground in Ukraine.

Both brothers are no strangers to endurance challenges—this will be the third marathon in a year for each of them. Arthur, who will also be driving a 4x4 filled with vital medical equipment to Ukraine this September, is making his third convoy trip in just two years. Ollie, running his first Big 7 World Marathon, has flown in from Vancouver to join the effort.

Together, they aim to fund another 4x4 for Ukraine, knowing that each vehicle can save as many as 50 lives by evacuating civilians and delivering life-saving medical supplies to the areas that need them most.

Their run in Chicago is more than just a race—it’s a step towards saving lives on the front lines.
