Having experienced first hand the impact that Alzheimer’s has on loved ones.
I would like to raise awareness and money for the Alzheimer’s society and the incredible work that they do in helping combat the disease and the support they give to the individuals affected, and also their families.
We recently lost my grandma, Sylvia Williams, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s a few years ago. We loved and cherished grandma and her loss has and always will leave a huge hole in our hearts.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
I will be running the chester 10km on 9th March, half marathon on the 18th May and full marathon on 5th October.
More information about Alzheimer's Society: At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research. One in three people born in the UK today will develop dementia in their lifetime. We don’t want anyone to face the realities of dementia alone. That’s why your support is vital.
