Running Paris Marathon 2025 for Great Ormond street hospital
I am thrilled to share that I am running the Paris marathon 2025 in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity
GOSH
Great Ormond street Hospital transforms the lives of children with complex and life threatening illnesses. They don’t just provide excellent care; they pioneer cutting edge treatments, fund vital research and offer support to families during the toughest time of their lives.
Why this means so much to me..
Running 42 kilometres is a challenge but it’s nothing compared to what the kids and families at GOSH face every day. Knowing that every step I take in Paris will find specialised equipment, research, and family services gives me the drive to push through.
This hospital has a special place in my family’s heart. The children’s hospital helps severely ill children and helped my brother throughout his childhood. The hospital helps an all types of illness but especially blind and visually impaired children. “Two in every 1,000 (0.2%) children and young people up to the age of 25 in the UK have vision impairment of any degree. Giving these children support and treatment as well as research is so important for so many people.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
I have set a goal of £1000 by race day. Every penny counts and your support - no matter how big or small - will make a real difference
-£10 could fund activities to comfort or distract a child undergoing treatment
-£50 could help ground braking medical research
-£100 could provide accommodation for families to stay closer to their child in hospital
Please donate for this cause!
