Running off Children's Leukemia

The words "Children" and "Leukemia" should seldom share the same sentence. Cancer devastates entire families, having lived opposite Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, I will never forget the images of brave souls and their families struggling with their individual and shared battles.
In order to raise both awareness and hard cash, I have decided to mercilessly punish myself in the 5th 3rd 25K River Bank Run in Grand Rapids on the 11th May, 2019. I'll be raising funds for the Children's leukemia Foundation of Michigan, and with the heady target of $5,000, all donations will help make impact.
The Children's Leukemia Foundation of Michigan is a statewide organization that provides disease and treatment education, social work based emotional support and financial assistance to Michigan families.
You cannot, of course, run off cancer, but I'm hoping that by running my socks off, we can help make a difference to children and their families that have been affected by leukemia, lymphoma and related blood disorders.
Please dig deep, I will certainly be.
