Running My First Half Marathon to Support Refuge Victoria

Next Sunday, I’ll be running my first ever half marathon! I want to put all those sweaty training kilometres to good use by raising money for Refuge Victoria; an incredible organisation that helps women and children escaping family violence.
This run is a big personal milestone for me. I picked up running again 18 months ago after having my baby, and back then I could barely shuffle a few hundred metres around the block. It’s been a slow and steady journey, but I’m super proud (and slightly terrified) to be taking on 21.1 kilometres!
About Refuge Victoria:
Refuge Victoria has been supporting people escaping family violence since 1976. They provide safe accommodation and essential support through multiple refuges and crisis properties across Victoria; helping families find safety, stability, and a fresh start.
Every dollar raised will go directly to Refuge Victoria to help them continue their vital work.
If you can spare a few dollars to cheer me on (and keep me motivated to actually finish all 21 .2 kilometres!), I’d be so grateful.
Thank you for the support, it really means a lot.
