Marathon For Charity, Bismarck Cancer Center Donation
Donation protected
Hello,
We are a group of guys that will be running our first marathon. With running our first marathon we wanted to raise money for charity. Cancer has affected someone we know or a family member in our lives. We want to donate to a cancer center or cancer research to help kick cancers butt. With the money we raise we will be making a donation to the Bismarck Cancer Center in Bismarck, ND. We will be running on June 22nd, 2024, in the Grandma's Marathon from Two Harbors, MN to Duluth, MN.
Let me introduce our runners and the reason we decided to run.
Nate Gesme, “To prove to myself that I could run a marathon. Might as well raise money for a good charity.”
Brad Sutherland, “I am doing it for a fun memory with some friends and an excuse to go to Duluth to get a sandwich from Northern Smokehaus. I also like the fact we can raise money for cancer research.”
Jake Armstrong, “I'm here to run over cancer! My mom always told me I could never run away from my problems, but she never ran a marathon, so how could she know?”
Zack Heinle, “I wanted to improve myself as a person. Training to run the long 26.2-mile will be a challenge to beat, with that goal in mind I wanted to raise money to help beat cancer.”
With your donation to our go fund me page we will be donating 100% of the funds raised to one or multiple charities that research cancer treatments, cancer centers, or help cancer patients!
Thank you from all of us.
