Hi my name is Celine and I will be running 26 miles at the Manchester marathon next year. I'm raising money to benefit Candy's Hound Rescue International, which helps save mistreated dogs from the meat trade in China.

More information about Candy's Hound Rescue International: they rescue greyhounds and other dogs from the meat trade in China. Greyhounds are in these countries because they are exported there from the UK, Ireland and Australia to be bred from for use on underground race tracks. If they can't race or become too old they end up in the meat trade. Most of the dogs they rescue have severe injuries and illnesses as a result of mistreatment. They make sure they get the medical treatment they need and once they are healthy they find them homes in the UK, USA and Europe.
