Running London Marathon to help Theo fight Leukaemia

My name is Brynach, and in April this year I’ll be running the London Marathon to raise money for my dear friend Theo Kotz, who is currently facing the fight of his life.

Last year Theo was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML), an aggressive form of blood cancer that turned his life upside down. Theo has completed a third round of chemotherapy, and having recently found a 9/10 match, he will undergo a stem cell transplant very soon. The money raised will go towards aiding Theo through this challenging time; this includes funding a specific drug that is essential to his current treatment plan. This drug isn’t available on the NHS and costs £20,000 for just one cycle. All the money raised will be transferred to the ‘Help Theo fight Myeloid Leukaemia’ fund.
