I had been training to run a 10k race, along with many others, but we recently learned that the organisation behind the event, saucony, has sponsorship choices that don’t align with our morals and beliefs. Because of this, many participants, myself included, have decided not to take part in their race.

Instead, we have chosen to do the run independently, as a way to stand in solidarity with Palestinians and to raise both awareness and funds for this cause. What began as a personal challenge has become something much more meaningful, especially after discussing it with my sister, who encouraged me to follow through with this idea.

This run is no longer just about crossing a finish line, it’s about showing up for what we believe in.

All proceeds raised will go directly to aid Palestinians! Donating money towards Palestinians.
