Over a year ago, one of Lily's close friends, Jack Lombardo, was diagnosed with Leukemia.  Throughout his incredible battle, which has been extremely challenging, he continuously has a smile on his face and a positive attitude.  He has been an inspiration to Lily, me, and my family.  

Jack is in ninth grade atThe Miami Country Day School in Miami, Florida and they graciously started a grant in his honor.  It is the Jack Lombardo Grant and it is through The Heidi Hewes Foundation at The Women's Cancer Center at The University of Miami.  

On January 28th, I will be running the half marathon in Jack's honor and raising money for his grant.  Please join me in this effort.  You will not only be supporting Jack but you will be helping others in their battles with cancer.
