Hi everyone. This summer, I’m running a half-marathon to raise money for youth mental health support, compassion education, and addiction recovery. I have watched too many young people and their families struggle with mental health challenges and addiction, including my own. I recently attended the second funeral for a teenager in the past 8 months, and I feel compelled to do something. I can't overstate the urgency and importance of providing compassion, connection, and support for young people and their families.
Locally, I’m fundraising for the Compassion Project, a Montana organization whose mission is to teach compassion through art and mindfulness.
I’ll also be creating a separate fundraising page for a national organization working to address the addiction crisis in our country.
Compassion Project (COMPASSION PROJECT - MONTANA)
My name is Adrienne Webster. I’m a public health advocate, addiction counselor, and a mom. In my work, and in my life as a parent, I see how much compassion, connection, and mental health support matter for young people and their families. Organizations like The Compassion Project are doing this work right here in our community. Their mission is to spread and teach compassion through art and mindfulness. Through creative programs and community outreach, they help young people and families develop empathy, emotional awareness, and tools for navigating difficult experiences.
If you’re able to contribute, every donation, large or small, helps support these efforts. My hope is that I can raise more through these efforts than I could donate on my own.
People can donate any amount: $1, $5, $25, $100 per mile or for the whole race, to support youth mental health and substance use prevention efforts. 100% of donations will go directly to the Compassion Project through this page. Donations are tax-deductible.
If donating isn’t possible right now, sharing this fundraiser can make a huge difference.
Thank you for supporting this work and helping create communities where young people and their families feel seen and supported.
