My name is Sean, and earlier this year, in March, my brother Ultan was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy and continues to face this challenge with great strength and determination.

To support Ultan and my family during this difficult time, I will be running both the Dublin Half Marathon and the Dublin Marathon. The funds raised will go directly towards covering the many costs associated with Ultan’s treatment and care.

This journey is especially personal for us, as it is not the first time our family has faced such a battle. In 2006, we lost my brother Tiernan to cancer. We are determined to support Ultan in every possible way as he continues his fight.

Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference and is deeply appreciated by our family. I will be sharing updates on both my training and Ultan’s progress along the way, beginning with the Dublin Half Marathon on September 21st, followed by the Dublin Marathon on October 26th.
