Running For the Visually Impaired
Donation protected
Hello! Red Eye Eyewear has organized a team of runners and walkers to partake in this year's Hot Chocolate 5k race. We are raising money for a VERY good cause!! The Blind Service Association (BSA) which is a 98 year old Chicago institution.
The BSA started as a group that read books, mail and letters to the visually impaired. The BSA has grown to provide countless programs such as summer camps for blind and visually impaired youth, computer training, support groups, job training, senior programs and newsletters. They give over $30,000 a year in scholarships, and yes, the volunteers continue to read to clients. None of this costs them a penny!
Please donate what you can every bit helps.
Thank you very much and stay happy and healthy!
