Hello everyone!

My name is Hunter and for my birthday this year I am planning to run the Fernie triple crown (Mt. Proctor, Three Sisters, Mt. Fernie) in one big link up, while using this personal goal to help raise money to donate to the Elk River Alliance. I have decided that I would like to use my birthday to give back to the community that has given me so much over the past 4 years. This will be the biggest run I have done and I'm excited to push myself, and see what is possible through both my own personal efforts, and community involvement.

The Elk River Alliance is graciously supporting me in this endeavour, and I would love if you could support me as well by making donations, as the Elk River is a vital piece of the ecosystem that makes up this beautiful valley that we are so lucky to live in!

By uniting, inspiring and acting with the Elk River community to care for the watershed, ERA works towards a resilient Elk River watershed that sustains all communities and living things through shared stewardship.

It would mean the world to me if you are able to join me on this mission, and donate in any way to benefit this amazing organization. The Elk River plays a vital role in all of our lives, and we all stand to benefit from a healthy river ecosystem. So much recreation takes place on the river whether its fly fishing, river floating, swimming, cold plunges, or just hanging at the boat launch. I think it is safe to say we all enjoy the beauty it offers our valley. The Elk River watershed is a vibrant habitat for many different forms of wildlife like elk, deer, moose, bears, beavers, fish, birds and many more. Vital spawning ground for different species of fish also exist throughout the watershed of the Elk.

Through proper care, respect, and stewardship the Elk River will continue to sustain the wildlife ecosystem and humans alike for generations to come.

You can help be a part of that by donating here :)

Many thanks,
Hunter
