Running for the Paws
Donation protected
Everyone is facing challenging times since COVID-19 has come about, among those are our forgotten furry friends. More pets have ended up in shelters than ever before. Funding for animal shelters has seen an all-time low and more and more furry friends had the devastation of being put down.
2021 - We are taking a stand
My name is Tom Lawrence and I am a runner who, with YOUR help, will make a difference in our furry friends lives. Together, we will raise funds for awareness and support of two Pennsylvania non-kill shelters, Dog Town Rescue and Last Chance Ranch.
How does this work?
Donations are raised for every mile that I run. We ask that donation per mile start at 5 cents minimum.
Every month, I commit to running roughly 100 miles and every supporter donates the monthly amount based on the miles that I have run (or anything that you can!)
At the end of the challenge, we will send the shelters the donations (minus any Go Fund Me Fees). All participants will be listed and mentioned in our virtual Thank You celebration! Dates for my participation are from January 1, 2021 and will end on October 17th, 2021.
Great, how do I support our furry friends?!
TODAY... donate to begin supporting our challenge! Then, donate monthly based on the miles I run.

Tom’s Qualifications
For those of you wondering why I have set up this challenge... it’s simple. My company, A & T Chevrolet and Subaru sponsors non-kill animal shelters every October. Seeing the devastation that animal shelters have faced, I want to increase the funds that these shelters receive. I myself am the owner of my best friend, a 13 year old black Labrador Retriever named Molly.
I am willing to run miles upon miles for this cause to help pets find their fur-ever homes. This challenge involves us supporting a great cause while also supporting each other as friends, family and community.
BIG things happen when we all come together and put in a bit of effort, love and support.
Last year alone (in 2020) I ran 1,100+ miles. With your support, we will raise funds for another 1,000 miles for the most helpless friends amongst us.
