Empower Transformation: Meditation & Half-Marathon

I am gearing up for an upcoming half-marathon, driven by a profound purpose – to raise funds for a dedicated meditation retreat center in the heart of Ireland. This center will provide a sanctuary for individuals to embark on their meditation journey or enhance their existing practice.

Many years back, I embarked on my own first meditation retreat as a means to cope with the anxieties and restlessness that life often brings. In a world where the complexities of modern living can take an emotional and existential toll, I found myself struggling with inner turmoil. Looking back, it's clear that I was grappling with anxiety and a touch of depression.

Since that pivotal retreat, a remarkable transformation has unfolded. Not only in me but also in countless others I know! The mere presence of such retreats, offering opportunities to delve deeper into mindfulness, has supported me and many others to touch into a taste of freedom and since live from a place of serenity, awareness, kindness, inspiration and well-being.

The Retreat Centre project in Ballycorrigan Co. Tipperary is well underway and volunteer-led by the Dublin Buddhist Centre, a non-profit charity, and if the project receives enough support it will provide a space where individuals can find this taste of freedom.
