I’m Tiffany Hotchkiss, and on November 1st I will be running the TCS NYC Marathon with Team AFBS to build strength for the Nemaline Myopathy community. NM is a rare muscle disorder that affects breathing, swallowing, and mobility. I am running because families living with NM need treatments that restore hope, and because A Foundation Building Strength is the only organization fully dedicated to making those treatments a reality.
AFBS is leading the way with a historic $3.6 million research commitment to advance gene therapy and prepare for clinical trials. Their focused work brings the science, the experts, and the clinical readiness that people with NM so desperately need. Knowing that 100% of donations go directly to research means every dollar you give fuels real progress toward therapies that could change lives.
Training for 26.2 miles has shown me the power of endurance, community, and determination. I carry the stories of families battling NM with every step, and I am proud to run so their voices are louder, their needs are seen, and their future is brighter. Your support amplifies that effort and turns miles into momentum for research.
Please join me in supporting A Foundation Building Strength. Your donation will directly fund research that brings us closer to effective treatments for Nemaline Myopathy. Thank you for helping Team AFBS race toward a future of greater strength and hope.
