I am running the TCS NYC Marathon with Team AFBS on November 1st to build strength for the Nemaline Myopathy community. NM is a rare muscle disorder that affects breathing, swallowing, and movement, and I am running because families facing this diagnosis need more hope, more research, and real progress toward treatments. Every mile I run is for those who fight to breathe, to swallow, to walk, and to live fuller lives.
A Foundation Building Strength is the only organization completely dedicated to finding effective treatments for NM. They are leading a historic effort right now, managing a $3.6 million research commitment to advance gene therapy and prepare for clinical trials. That work brings us closer to life-changing breakthroughs. Knowing that 100 percent of donations go directly to research makes every contribution count toward real scientific progress.
I am humbled to run in solidarity with the NM community and proud to be part of a team racing toward answers. Your support helps fund the scientists, the trials, and the hope that families desperately need. Whether you give a little or a lot, your gift becomes part of the momentum pushing research forward.
Please join me in supporting A Foundation Building Strength. Donate today to fuel research that could change lives and help us build a future where Nemaline Myopathy no longer limits families. Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
