It is with the deepest sadness we inform you of the death of our beloved Stef.
Stef brought love, light and laughter to so many lives. She inspired and made an impression on us all with her bravery and determination in fighting the cruel illness that took her far too early.
Stef was an amazing mum, daughter, sister and friend and will be deeply missed by so many, but will remain forever in our hearts.
This "Running for Stef" page is still available for anybody who wishes to donate, with all funds raised going to support Stef's two amazing children Lucy and Luke who were her world.
- 27th May - Harlow Parkrun
A massive thank you again to everyone who attended our second run "Run for Stef".
Please see pictures below and scroll down to read Stef's story.
Stef continues to fight cancer with truly inspirational strength and courage and a smile on her beautiful face.
- 22nd April - Gunpowder Parkrun
A massive thank you to everyone who attended our first "Run for Stef".
Please help us to support our amazing, funny, independent, positive, caring, brave, Epping Superhero Stef Payne.
Stef has raised money in many charity races herself, including the virtual London marathon, Race for Life, Brighton marathon and many half marathons, but after being diagnosed with bowel and liver cancer in December 2021 at the age of 45, she is now in need of support.
Stef is a fabulous mum to two wonderful children and we would love to help the family with financial commitments at this difficult time and during the cost-of-living crisis.
Stef is an inspiration and is fighting this illness with such bravery and humour. We have set up this GoFundMe page and will be doing several charity runs.
Join us in ‘RUNNING FOR STEF’. We will be doing number of runs and please share and view this page to keep updated with dates, locations etc.
Family and friends, please feel free to get involved and provide us with more ideas, as we are keen to do other events too! Contact us via Facebook Hayley Bobo, Cathy Jackson or Phil Jackson.
