Running for Resources: Support Senase Schools
Donation protected
After an unforgettable experience volunteering at the Semanhyia American School and Roman Catholic Primary School in Senase Village, Ghana this past semester, I am now raising funds alongside my first marathon to give back to the school and the incredible children in the community.
The school was founded by Fred Benneh Frimpong, a community advocate, who opened the doors of Semanhyia to Semester at Sea voyagers like myself. Fred’s passion for education and commitment to uplifting his village have created lasting memories for students from all over the world. During my time there, I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of his work, not only in the classroom but in fostering a strong sense of community and belonging. Fred’s dedication made our experience truly special, leaving a deep impression on all of us.
I hope to continue supporting his mission by raising funds to provide resources for the school and help improve the lives of the children in Senase Village.
All donations will be going to Semester at Sea
