Hi I’m Hannah.

In may of this year 2025 my family received the news that my Daddy had suddenly taken ill while at work as a lorry driver in Dumfries, Scotland. He later passed on the 9th of May.

We had to return home to Northern Ireland without him and figure out how to even begin the journey of bringing him home as we had no idea where to start.

This is when we were introduced to KBRT. They helped us start the process of repatriation without the burden of documents or finances during this difficult time.

To show my appreciation and as a personal goal myself I will be taking part in the ‘Born 2 Run, run forest run series’ and will complete six, 5km races taking place across Northern Ireland starting in November until February 2026.

My goal is raise any amount big or small through donations to support the KBRT to continue returning loved ones home to their families in Ireland.

Without their help we would have never been able to bring Daddy home one last time.
