Miles for Wayfinders

This November, I'll be running the New York City Marathon on behalf of one of my favorite organizations, Wayfinders. Wayfinders provides low-income, high-potential 4th through 12th grade Charlotte students with residential summer camp, year-round enrichment programs and mentoring for up to eight consecutive years.

My two mentees, Jakere and Ayahna, have gotten to attend Green River Preserve for 3 summers as part of their Wayfinders experience. This is the same summer camp I attended as a child, worked at as a teenager, and where I met my husband. It is my favorite place on earth, and getting to share camp traditions and memories with Jakere and Ayahna is incredibly special.

My fundraising goal of $2,700 will send one Wayfinders scholar to Green River Preserve this summer, and I need your help. Every dollar will help a scholar experience the magic of summer camp! Thanks in advance for your contribution to a cause that means so much to me.
