Running for my Best Friend's Top Surgery
Donation protected
Howdy lads!!
On February 16th I'll be running the Media City Half Marathon to help raise money for something incredibly important - my best friend, Bex's, top surgery. This procedure isn't about physical change; it's about helping them feel at home in their own body, free from the daily discomfort and dysphoria that they've had to navigate for so long.
For Bex, top surgery means freedom - freedom to move through the world with confidence and to exist without the weight of dysphoria holding them back. It's about feeling comfortable in their skin, embracing joy without hesitation, and stepping into their full, authentic self.
I'm asking for your support. Every pound raised will go directly towards their surgery and recovery so they can focus on healing and stepping into this new affirming chapter of their life.
Also full disclosure...I have never run a half marathon before and I have signed up 2 weeks before but if Bex can take on something as big as gender-affirming surgery, I can certainly attempt to run 13.1 miles.
Whether you can donate, share this fundraiser, or simply send words of encouragement, every bit of support means the world.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts <3
