Join Me in My Marathon Journey for Mental Health

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
I'm writing to you today to ask for your support in my upcoming challenge. This April, I'll be lacing up my running shoes and tackling the London Marathon 2025! But I'm not just running for the finish line; I'm running to raise vital funds for Mind , the UK's leading mental health charity.
Mind is an incredible organisation that provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness, and promote understanding. They're there for anyone who needs them, offering a lifeline through helplines, information resources, and local support groups.
I'm passionate about supporting Mind because, sadly, mental health challenges touch us all. We either know someone struggling or have faced our own battles.
For me, this is personal. In my 20s, I experienced a traumatic event – I was kidnapped. This ordeal had a profound impact on my mental well-being, leaving me with anxieties and fears I had never known before. Thankfully, I received incredible support from the NHS in England, which helped me find my way back to a place of mental stability.
I know firsthand how daunting and difficult it can be to navigate mental health challenges. That's why I want to help others access the support they need to recover and thrive.
Although I no longer live in England, the UK provided the environment and care that allowed me to heal. I consider it my home, and I'm eager to give back to this amazing country.
To make your contribution go even further, my wonderful employer, Workday, matches all donations I receive! So every pound you give will have double the impact. Every little helps, whether it's a £1 or £10.
Please donate what you can.
Thank you for taking the time to read this message. Your support means a lot to me, and it will enable Mind to continue their vital work, ensuring no one has to face a mental health problem alone.
With sincere gratitude,
THANK YOU
