Running for Memories: Half Marathon for Alzheimer's awarenes
In 2024 I lost both my Grandparents, Lily & Jim. Both had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. It was a long, difficult journey and watching them slowly fade over the years was tough for our family.
I've decided to run the Dublin city Half Marathon on the 30th March in their memory, not only as a personal challenge but as a way to help raise awareness of this disease. All money raised will be going to the Alzheimer's Society of Ireland. Every donation, no matter how small makes a huge difference. The ASI works across the country in the heart of local communities, providing dementia-specific services and supports and advocating for the rights and needs of all people living with dementia and their carer's.
Thank you in Advance!
