Hi friends! I'm Sjaelan Evans, an avid runner and lover of all things endurance! *drools*

I'm currently chasing a dream that’s bigger than just crossing a finish line...I’ve been accepted to run the Tokyo Marathon through a beautiful charity called Gold Ribbon Network, which raises money for children fighting cancer.

Running brings me so much joy, but running for a purpose? That’s where the real magic is. Every step I take in Tokyo will honour the strength and resilience of these kids and their families.

100% of the US$2,000 raised goes directly to the Gold Ribbon Network. That means your donation doesn’t pay for my race or travel...it goes straight to helping children in need. I get the honour of doing what I love, while supporting a cause that truly matters.

So whether you’re a fellow runner or a cheerleader from the sidelines (or a friend or family member I am harassing lol) your support means the world to me and I'll repay you with 26.2 miles of smiles and hugs!

P.S. - That's my bestie Korey in that pic when we also ran for the Macmillan cancer society at the London marathon in 2019. I'll also be thinking of him on each mile and remembering all our wonderful running memories together. I'm so grateful to be alive and carrying on our traditions. Blessed beyond words!
