On July 5th, I’ll be taking on the Achill Half Marathon with a mission that’s very close to my heart — raising vital funds for Pieta House, an organisation that provides free, life-saving support to anyone struggling with their mental health.
Pieta’s work has helped thousands of individuals and families across Ireland, offering professional, compassionate care during some of life’s darkest moments. Their services are needed now more than ever, and they rely heavily on public donations to keep going.
Running 21km is a big challenge, but nothing compared to what many people face every day battling mental health issues. If my run can help even one person find the support they need, it will all be worth it.
I’d be so grateful if you could support me in any way — whether that’s by donating, or sharing this page.
All funds raised will go directly to Pieta House.
Let’s help them continue their incredible work — because everyone deserves hope, help, and healing.
Thank you so much,
Megan :)
More information about Pieta: We’re Pieta, the charity that prevents suicide and self-harm. That means being there for you if you are self-harming, struggling with suicidal thoughts, or have lost someone to suicide. Every year nearly 500 people in Ireland take their own lives, that’s one life lost every week. It doesn’t have to be this way. Pieta exists to change this by offering life-saving services, provoking national conversation, and bringing people together through Darkness Into Light.
