Running For Grieving Children
Tax deductible
Hey everyone! This summer, I’ll be getting back into running for another great cause. Join me as I hit the pavement once a week to raise awareness and funds for Experience Camps, a national nonprofit that transforms the lives of grieving children through amazing summer camp programs. As many of you know, when I was just 9 years old, my brother was murdered. That experience changed my life and filled my childhood with fear; and I want to help other kids navigate their grief in a supportive environment.
Starting May 1st, I’ll be running with my 1-year-old daughter, and I’m excited to invite others to join—whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a reason to get outside!
No worries if you can’t make it for a run, there are other ways to support! You can still make a difference by donating to the website posted at a later time. I also have one extra running stroller for other parents to bring a little one along!
️ Weekly runs will be in Des Moines, and times may vary (we’re on toddler time). But hoping to eventually get a bit more concrete! We’ll also do monthly runs at other local parks around the Seattle area and will be sure to post in advance for anyone planning to join!
Stay tuned, more to come ♂️
