Running For Granny Madge ❤️

My name is Danielle Thornton.

In 2022 our family lost our beautiful and amazing Mummy and Granny to Lung Cancer.

To know Granny was to love her, she was the most perfect mix of kindness, rascality and pure love for everyone she met. She could brighten any day with her beautiful smile and genuine love of people and life.

She lived life to the full and always offered a helping hand to those around her.

We were so thankful as a family for the help and support offered to us during Granny’s final days by the Marie Curie Nurses. Their care and attention echoed the care and attention Granny gave to so many in her life.

In a bid to repay their kindness I am running the Omagh Half Marathon on the 26th March in aid of Marie Curie. This is totally out of my comfort zone, but anyone who knows me, knows I would do anything for my Granny.

I know that times are difficult financially for a lot of people but you never know when you or a family member may need to avail of the services Marie Curie offer. Any donation small or large will be appreciated.
