Running for Freya

On 16/11/2021 we got the stomach/heart wrenching news that our beautiful, funny, kind little Freya has cancer and will need to undergo a years worth of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery.

The type of cancer that Freya has is very rare for her age, and is in fact a type of bone cancer, but has formed in the tissue.

Unfortunately her mum will need to take the whole time of Freya’s treatment off work to fit in around hospital appointments and to monitor Freya 24/7. This means that her pay will be massively reduced and will have the additional costs of going to and from Alder Hey Hospital.

Myself and Freya’s dad (Rob) will be completing a run in February 2022, which we are offering friends and family to join. We are doing this in attempt to raise some funds to help support Freya’s parents with funds during this upcoming challenging year.
