Our beloved Evie, Evangeline Grace Crompton, was a shining light known for her warmth, kindness, and infectious laughter. Passionate about philosophy, social justice, and meaningful discussions, she was a treasure trove of wisdom and love.

As Evie's cousin, I cherished countless joyful memories with her. She saw the good in everyone and brought warmth to our gatherings.

Why I’m #RunningForEvie:

To honor Evie, who dreamt of New York City and found solace in running, I am participating in the NYC Marathon. This isn’t just a personal endeavor; it’s a journey of remembrance, love, hope, and mental health awareness, a cause close to Evie’s heart. As I run through the streets of New York, with every stride, we will remember Evie’s laughter, her kindness, her love for her family, and her dream of visiting this city.

The Cause: SHARC (Self Help Addiction Resource)

I'm dedicating this run to SHARC (Self Help Addiction Resource), advocating for a world where all people affected by the impact of addiction can proudly and openly seek help, help each other and demonstrate the living proof that recovery is possible. We aim to raise $5,000, with every donation bringing us closer to making a difference and keeping Evie’s legacy alive.
