We’re excited (and a little nervous!) to share that myself (Becky Robran) and my nephew Hayden Gibson will be running the LA Half Marathon on March 8th in honor of someone very dear to us — my husband and Hayden’s uncle, Chris Gibson, who we lost to Glioblastoma this past June. This journey is deeply personal for us, and we are committed to raising awareness and funds for the Glioblastoma Foundation.

Running this half marathon isn’t just about completing a race; it’s about honoring Chris's memory and advocating for better treatment options for those facing glioblastoma. Chris lived a life full of adventure, care and intention, and even when diagnosed, he maintained a positive spirit, always fighting for the chance to enjoy life to the fullest.

With every step, we aim to support essential research, advanced genomic testing, and vital assistance for those in need. All funds raised will go directly to the Glioblastoma Foundation, helping those struggling with this diagnosis and pushing for advancements in their care and treatment options.
