Supporting Learners with SEND at Landau

I have the privilege of working at Landau. Every single day we see determination, courage, and progress in its purest form. We see young people who face challenges that many of us cannot fully imagine and yet they show up, they try, they grow, and they achieve.

These learners are not defined by their difficulties. They are defined by their resilience, their individuality, and their potential. With the right support, encouragement, and opportunities, they thrive. And that is exactly what Landau provides a safe, empowering environment where learners can build confidence, develop life skills, and move towards a more independent future.

But we can do more. We want to do more.

That’s why I’ve decided to take on a personal challenge: I will be running a half marathon to raise money for these incredible learners. Now, I won’t pretend this will be easy but it is nothing compared to the daily challenges our students overcome. Every step I take will be for them. Every mile will be driven by their strength and their stories.

The money we raise will go directly towards supporting vulnerable learners providing resources, opportunities, and experiences that help them grow not just academically, but personally and socially too. It will help give them confidence, independence, and hope.

I love my job. I love what I do. And most importantly, I believe deeply in the young people we support. They deserve every chance to succeed, and together, we can help make that happen.
