Running For A Brighter Future

Hello.

We are two friends; Sal a dedicated parkrunner - For 17 years Sal has been running for fun. & for 5 of those years, she has been trying to get Sorcha to partake.

Sorcha has finally agreed to join the running community, with one tiny condition. That in honor to celebrate Sals 500th parkrun, and her own 1st parkrun, that they raise some funding for the 50 children they support in Uganda.

These gorgeous children walk the equivalent of 2 parkruns a day, usually barefoot, to get the luxury of education.

We say luxury, as it costs £33 a term for each child. Their education will be the only thing that we can give the kids that will break the cycle of poverty. So we are running to raise funds to pay for the upcoming term, and a brighter future.

We are grateful for all donations, pennies or pounds, it all adds up, so thanks so much for your support.

Sal thinks Sorcha will get the running bug, Sorcha thinks Sal does not know her as well as she thinks...
