Running for 826 Boston

Tax deductible
This September I'll be taking on the challenge of running to every Boston Public Library location* in one day to raise funds for 826 Boston. 826 is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering students through writing, tutoring, and publishing.

With this library-centered run, I want to highlight the importance of access to books, learning, and creative opportunities for young people in Boston.

By supporting this cause, we can help inspire the next generation of writers, thinkers, and leaders. Your donation supports programs like:
  • One-on-one tutoring that builds confidence and strengthens writing skills for K–12 students
  • Creative writing workshops that nurture self-expression and storytelling
  • Publishing opportunities that give young writers a platform to share their voices with the community and the world

826 Boston believes that every student has a story worth telling. Your support ensures that they have the tools, encouragement, and audience to tell it. Please consider donating to support this amazing cause!

*There are 26 (!!!) Boston Public Library locations, reaching every corner of the city. I'll be using the route laid out by the BPL Passport. The run should total around 37 miles. You can follow the journey on my Instagram story (abbkyatz )!
