On the 17th August I will be running Bath Marathon to raise money for 2 important causes:
Icarus Charity for Mental Health.
A current serving soldier battling stage 4 cancer.
A close friend who passed away earlier this year gave his time as a counsellor for Icarus. This Charity supports Veterans in times of crisis. Running for this charity would help continue the great work that many people selflessly volunteer for.
A current serving soldier who is only 21 years old is currently battling Stage 4 Adrenal Cortical Carcinoma , a rare and aggressive form of cancer. She is currently unable to
fly home from Australia due to her condition. Any money raised will help ease a little bit of the burden that comes with the diagnosis.
Any money donated to support these causes will be greatly appreciated.
