Running Against Addiction

Hello everyone!

I am running a half marathon in Brooklyn NY in April. I am raising money for prevention and treatment of addiction. I hold this cause close to my heart because sobriety saved my life: I will be 2 years sober in February. I also hold this cause close to my heart because of my friend Jane who passed away, from a different cause. She was and still is a very important part of my recovery. In order to honor her memory and honor her and her family, who I hold very close to my heart, I will be donating this money in her name. I love you, Jane. Thank you for looking out for me and my sobriety.
