I started running when I was 16 and I haven't stopped since. On 25 May I will be taking on the Edinburgh Marathon, which will be my first ever marathon and a big milestone for me!
Just like the work of building a revolutionary party, training for a marathon takes a lot of patience and a serious attitude, and also not giving up in the face of any momentary difficulties!
As further inspiration to get me over the finish line, I will be fundraising for the RCP to help build the forces of communism - a necessary step for the genuine emancipation of humanity from the oppression of capitalist society.
2 years ago I ran a half marathon and we managed to raise £300 for the RCP. Given than I'm running double the distance now, can we also double the amount raised?
