Running a marathon for Hope for Tomorrow
I am running the Leeds marathon on 12 May 2024 and I am wanting to raise money for a charity close to my heart, Hope for Tomorrow. Hope for Tomorrow gave my gorgeous mum invaluable care when she underwent 8 months of chemotherapy on her brave fight against breast cancer. Their dedication to making our mum feel as comfortable as she could during an incredibly unpleasant treatment process made things far more bearable for her and us as a family. Now as I prepare to take on this marathon, with your generosity I hope to give back to the organisation so they can continue their amazing work helping patients and their families facing similar battles. I would welcome donations big or small.
Pictured is my mums gorgeous friend Maria who she met on her journey. They both said the bus was their ‘safe haven’ .
Hope for Tomorrow is a dedicated charity bringing cancer care closer to patients via our Mobile Cancer Care Units. As a cancer charity we understand that time is a crucial factor for patients. In 2007 we launched the world’s first Mobile Cancer Care Unit to bring vital cancer care closer to patients enabling them to spend more time with family and friends. We develop, build, provide and maintain units to support patients who are going through cancer treatment by alleviating the stress. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause which means so much to me.
