Hello!

My class and I are fundraising for our 8th grade trip to Maui, and we are planning to go in April.

In our school, every 8th grade class gets to have a big end of year class trip, and we get to go to Maui with your help. We have nine people in our class, and we need money for plane tickets, food, shelter, experiences, etc. we will be staying tentalows (which I personally am super excited about), and we will be taking hikes through Maui‘s beautiful nature, snorkeling, possibly zip lining, surfing, community service, and many more fun activities we typically wouldn’t get to do otherwise.

This matters so much to me because it will be the last thing we get to do together as a class. We are all super close, and we really want to make our last experience together happen. We’ve been working towards this for so long (some since first grade), and we want all of our hard work to be worth it. It’s going to be so incredibly difficult to leave them all for high school, and it’s so important to us to be able to go on this trip.

But we still need a pretty good amount of money to get our goal. We’ve been training for the Cardiff Kook 5k, which is held on February 8th. We’ve also been raising money with things like bake sales and lunchtime pizza, but we still have a ways to go. So we ask you to consider any donation, anything would go a long way. Every penny counts.
