Running 5K every day in loving memory of my dad!

Hello, my name is Ed. I am a 15 year old boy and I have recently lost my beloved dad due to cardiac arrest.

My Father was diagnosed in lockdown with a rare cancer called poems syndrome. This is a rare blood disorder that damages your nerves and affects other parts of your body.

As a result of this my dad couldn’t work for the best part of 2 years putting a massive strain on my family. We had to make do with what little money that came from his pension and from the government.

Eventually my dad got his dream job

on film and tv as a set builder working for companies such as Netflix BBC etc.

Unfortunately this recently came to an end as he had a cardiac arrest on site and didn’t manage to pull through despite there being a nurse and paramedic immediatly on scene and 2 ambulance crews and a paramedic in a car arrived within 6 minutes ensuring he had the best chance at survival.

All funds raised with be going to the British Heart Foundation to help anyone going through the pain myself and my family has gone through.
