Running 57 Miles in Memory of Emad Samir Botros Farag

Donation protected
I’m running 57 miles over 7 days in memory of my friend Emad Samir Botros Farag, who was 57 years old when he died on 1st April 2025.

Emad was a father, a husband, and a hardworking man who loved his family deeply. He always had a smile on his face. He truly was such a lovely man, and he would always brighten up my day whenever I saw him. He mattered deeply to the people who loved him, and his loss has left a huge hole in their lives.

This run is also about mental health awareness. Sometimes people don’t receive the right care at the right time, and when things go wrong, families are left carrying unimaginable consequences. This is about recognising how vital proper mental-health support is, not just for individuals, but for the families around them.

I’ll be running every day from 26th March to 1st April, finishing on the anniversary of Emad’s passing. That’s one mile for every year of his life.

Funds raised will go towards supporting Emad’s family and helping raise awareness around the importance of mental-health care, understanding, and support.

If you’re able to donate, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
If you’re not, sharing this page still means a great deal.

This run is for Emad.
And for his loved ones that have sadly been left without him.
